Dozens of signals
It combines offensive and defensive output, minutes, weight in the lineup and consistency, normalizing by opponent and competition so friendlies, qualifiers and major tournaments all count equally.
Three readings
AF Total marks cumulative impact (the most 'stats-heavy' players), AF avg sums up consistency and positive influence on the game, and AF / 90 isolates pure per-minute performance.
Built for fantasy
It estimates the likelihood of performing well in any fantasy game. AF avg surfaces those who have played less but aim high: the candidates to break out.
